Sigismund III, 6 groschen 1626, Cracow

A nice example of a sixpence from the penultimate vintage.

Obverse: in the pearl rim a bust of the ruler wearing a crown, armor, with a robe studded with jewels, to the right, in the outer rim a legend punctuated by the coat of arms of the Half-Cozic Sub-treasurer of the Great Crown:

Reverse: crowned escutcheons with the coats of arms of the Crown, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Snopes coat of arms of the Vasa dynasty, under the crown the denomination mark VI, in a pearl border, in the outer border the legend:
