Biography
The artist graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 2010 with a degree in interior design. After graduation, her professional path turned towards press publications dealing with interior design and decoration, where she worked for several years as a photo editor and stylist , as well as a designer and stylist of photo sets in an advertising agency. After a break of several years, she decided to abandon her previous professional activities and devote herself fully to her greatest passion - painting. Her paintings have found their way to collectors and clients in Poland, as well as many other countries, including France, Italy, England, Norway, USA, Switzerland, Romania, Netherlands, Spain, Germany and others. The artist very quickly developed her own techniques, most often with elements of fabric collage and schlagmetal. Currently, the most popular themes and currents in her art are geometric abstraction, the contemporary version of sacred art, and depictions of people and the animal world. Characteristic in Agata's paintings are contrasting and strong combinations of brilliance and different textures along with small and intricate ornaments, which seemingly create an overabundance, but nevertheless make up a harmonious whole. The paintings, for the most part, are so-called "chameleons" and due to their many varied and shiny elements - they look different from every angle. They can also often be compared to patchwork. The artist's motto is : "Do not be limited by learned rules, but let yourself be carried away by color and fantasy, because life is too short for "being correct". Her greatest inspiration is simply the power of color, which cries out every day to be transferred to canvases.
