Joanna Rudek was born in 1988 in Rzeszow, Poland. In 2014 she graduated from painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow with Prof. Andrzej Bednarczyk. She completed an annex to her diploma in the studio of artistic fabric with Prof. Lila Kulka ( a student of Magdalena Abakanowicz ). She also studied art history and Monumental Painting. She has collaborated with art galleries such as Desa Gallery in Krakow, Stalowa Gallery in Warsaw, Xanadu Gallery and Sopot Auction House. Since 2021, she has been a member of the Association of Polish Artists. She has also participated in many exhibitions and plein-air painting workshops. In her work, she takes up the theme of carnality, intimacy and femininity. She is also interested in symbolism and the expression of color.
