mixed technique (watercolor, ink), Hahnemühle 350g paper, 40 x 30 cm, signed on the right: jdW
Originally from the Podhale region, she has lived in Krakow for more than a dozen years.
She studied clothing design at the School of Artistic Fashion Design in Cracow and art education at the Faculty of Art at the Pedagogical University in Cracow, graduating with a degree in graphic design - which she does now.
During her studies she experimented in painting, mixing different techniques, and also tried sculpture. At the same time, she developed into graphic design. She wanted to combine painting with design.
She creates her works with watercolors, adding inks to them. Nowadays, watercolors have become more expressive, juicy, dense. The inspiration for watercolor paintings is usually nature, its richness, colors, changing seasons, but also its mood, emotions, the present moment. He also experiments with adding texture to watercolor, observing how water and paint behave in combination with other media.
He also paints with acrylics. Works in this technique are usually the result of reflections on the nature of women, their place in the world. They are more representational, quieter in expression, have some thought, secrets, perhaps a story, and are meant to stimulate the viewer's own interpretation.
She does not attach herself to a particular style, she seeks and listens to what is playing in her soul at that moment. When painting, she transfers her emotions and experiences onto paper or canvas, resonating with the world and people around her. Painting gives her wings... space around and within herself, and the process itself is a form of meditation, an integral part of her existence.
She has participated in exhibitions:
I am an Artist. Venue: Artbay. Krakow Art Warehouse; Krakow, June 2022.
Moving Zone. Exhibition of painting and photography. Atelier 2 Gallery, SCKM; Krakow, April 2023.
