mixed technique (acrylic paint and ink, markers, spray, dermatograph), canvas, 100 x 70 cm, signed on the back
Born in 1981. Visual artist, professionally associated with the music industry. Lives and works in Warsaw's Praga district. Lecturer and specialist in public relations and music marketing. Member of the Phonographic Academy, the Association of Polish Artists "Polish Applied Arts" and the Association of Audio Video Producers. His artistic work is broadly defined neo-expressionism created using mixed techniques. Mostly using acrylic paints and inks, although spray paint, markers and collage also appear. The subject matter of the works is mostly a study of a human being subjected to various characteristic deformations. It is a colorful kaleidoscope of emotions and characters resulting from everyday observations transferred to paper and canvas. In his paintings he often comments on current events and at the same time alludes to science fiction films and books, especially those of a dystopian nature. Among the clear artistic inspirations are such artists as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Karel Appel and Shalom Neuman Thomas.
In 2019 Kamil Jaczynski was the author of the artwork for the 9th edition of the "Media and Art" festival in Darlowo where he additionally presented 180 selected works in a solo exhibition and created a mural live. He has also created music album covers for, among others, the Eskaubei & Tomasz Nowak Quartet album "Sweet Spot" released by the Polish Jazz Foundation and the Musical Tyrmand project by the same artists. In late 2020, he also painted paintings for the cover art for Polish rapper Jano's album titled "Hypnosis."
So far, he has presented his works in 11 solo exhibitions and 25 group exhibitions, including at the international review of modern art "Kyodygresy 2020." The artist's works also appear at auctions and exhibitions of various galleries. His works have been published in the pages of foreign magazines: Sapho Graf from Chile, Diafano Mag from Spain, and are increasingly going to private collectors not only in Poland, but also in the USA, Germany, Great Britain and Canada.
