Graduate of the Faculty of Law, UW. In 1999 he studied applied graphics at the School of Visiual Arts in New York. Being a frequent resident at the "Zen Mountain Monastery" in upstate New York from 1998 to 2005, he participated in numerous workshops on sumi-i ink painting in the Zen painting tradition, including with Japanese master Kazuki Tanachaschi called "the painter of one stroke". Luke Blikle paints with Japanese ink using traditional Japanese brushes and his own technique. Since 2005, he has also been painting using acrylic technique on MDF and canvas. In 2005, he had his first exhibition in Warsaw. His works are in private collections in Poland and France.
