Student of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, majoring in Cultural Assets Protection as of 2019. The environment in the form of a prolific artistic environment has become a contribution to the artist's lively painting work. The inspiration that the painter uses in his works is rooted in an in-depth psychological analysis and behaviors that have accompanied mankind for centuries, joys, fears, temperaments, etc. The author in his works focuses, first of all, on topics related to human spirituality. The created characters seem to carry out a "silent dialogue" with the viewer by including him in the scene taking place in the painting. Despite the gloomy (in some cases) atmosphere prevailing on the canvases by Nikolai Korus (e.g. The painting entitled Your Movement, 2021), the artist tries to convey in an allegorical, symbolic way the nature of phenomena that are inherent in human life (e.g. Allegory of Silence, 2020; Jealousy and Betrayal, 2021). This is because he claims that the art we create should encourage deep reflection on human being, morality and stimulate in us the ability to appreciate life, as well as the physical and spiritual reality around us.
