Biography
Painter, illustrator, poster artist, graphic designer. From an early age he has shown uncommon artistic abilities. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. He is one of the multidimensional artists, not limiting himself to one subject. In his diverse paintings in terms of form and content, original color and technique are evident. It seems that all paintings are united by an attempt to capture light, close time or movement, experience space. Features include pulsating and flickering color, visible texture, dots and spots of color applied, contrasts of complementary colors and glazing. Sometimes symbolic and pictographic drawing is visible on the canvas, most often achieved in relief. The artist consistently creates in the traditional technique of oil painting on linen canvas. In the layer of form, alternating influences are clearly visible: op-art, impressionism and expressionism. The content of Kapica's paintings is broad symbolism, more or less balancing on the borderline of abstraction.
