Biography
Zbigniew Seweryn
Born on February 5, 1956 in Cracow. Polish painter, illustrator of children's books. Studied at the department of industrial forms at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He creates in the convention of magical fantasy realism based on the precise imaging technique of Hieronymus Bosch, Pieter Bruegel, modeled on the old masters. He prefers old painting techniques, oil/acrylic on canvas, tempera, ink. Since 1994, he has worked with many publishing houses at home and abroad. He has illustrated dozens of books for children and adults for many major publishing houses, including Zielona Sowa, Skrzat, Wilga, Buchmann, Publicat, SP Krakow and many others.
