Lot description Show orginal version

Polish Cross of Valor awarded for bravery on the battlefield. Award in the shape of a cross, in the center a Polish eagle in a crown with outspread wings. On the shoulders the inscription "On the Field of Glory 1920".Reverse with a sword and laurel wreath with the inscription "To the Brave".

The cross was produced by the Jan Knedler factory in Warsaw.

Original ribbon of the period, with an unusual, unitary, three-prong fastening.

Dimensions: 36 mm x 39 mm.
