Eagle pattern 39, 34x53mm. Made of brass, cast. Reverse with "porridge" after casting. Mounted on a post, no nut. The eagle was made in Egypt in 1943/44. An analogous eagle is published in Tomasz Zawistowski's book, Polish cap eagles 1939-45, p. 54. Very good condition.
