Alojzy Siwecki (1912-1988) Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow from 1932-1937
under Władysław Jarocki and Franciszek Pautsch. After graduation
he stayed at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. From 1939
he worked as an assistant to Franciszek Pautsch at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. After the war
he taught in the painting studio. Since 1950 he headed the studio of drawing
evening drawing. In 1954 he received the rank of associate professor. He was a member of the Union
Polish Artists' Association and the Society of Friends of Fine Arts.
