Aloysius MAJCHER, Pond

Graphic artist, painter. Studied in 1926-31 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under W. Jarocki, I. Pieńkowski and J. Wojnarski. Taught drawing in the schools of Tarnów. He exhibited at TPSP in Cracow, at TZSP and IPS in Warsaw and in Tarnów. Co-organizer of the Green Pin Association. During the war he was active in the Union of Armed Struggle; arrested in retaliation for a successful assassination attempt on a police commander and executed.
