Biography
Studied in 1906-1908 in Königsberg (now Kaliningrad). He then spent time in Munich and Berlin, where he exhibited his works at the well-known Paul Cassirer Gallery. He also traveled to Paris. He was associated with the Berlin Secession. In his works he operated with intense colors, which he juxtaposed in contrasting ways. The style of Degner's compositions refers to the achievements of the German Expressionists.
