Polish painter, pupil of Juliusz Kossak; probably took part in the January Uprising and was imprisoned in Zhytomyr in 1865. He usually signed his name with the monogram ED . The Dictionary of Polish Artists writes about him : "He painted small genre scenes from Volhynia, introducing the motif of the horse into them with predilection".
