Painting after conservation.
Czech painter, illustrator, writer, translator, Austrian army officer. He used the artistic pseudonym Mirohorsky (in German "Friedberg"). He studied drawing in high school. He received a military education, after graduating from the Teresian Military Academy he joined an infantry regiment in Prague. He took part in the Spring of Nations under the command of Marshal Radetzky. For the next few years he was involved in cartography in the army, drawing maps of Vojvodina, Wallachia and Hungary. He ended his military career with the rank of general. After retiring, he settled in Prague, where he continued his interests in painting and literature. He painted military paintings, genre scenes, illustrated books and collaborated with magazines.
