He was primarily a painter of horses, as well as a cartoonist and illustrator of books for young people. He illustrated the poem "Knight Rhapsody" by F. Jasienczyk. Since 1888 he exhibited in Warsaw's Zachęta Gallery, including paintings close to the subject of the present: "Cavalry Ride", "Before the Inn". The painting "Ułani" is characterized by a great freedom of painting technique and vivid, cheerful colors.
