Oil on canvas, 80 cm x 60 cmGOLIKOV Vasily Vasilyevich (1921-2003) Russian painter, film artist. Born in 1921 in the Smolensk region. Artist of the RFSR. Studied at the Moscow Theater and Technical School, VGIK Art Department 1943-1949 under F. S. Bogorodsky, P. I. Kotov. Thesis: sketches and scripts for the screenplay based on the novel "Baranov Island" by I. F. Kratt, supervisor S. V. Kozlovsky. Artist of the Mosfilm film studio since 1949. He worked as a production designer, among others with directors G.V. Alexandrov, MI Romm, I. A. Pyryev. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR and the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR. He received the RSFSR State Prize named after the Vasilyev Brothers (1975) for the film "Hot Snow" (1972). Works are exhibited at the Kamensk Art Gallery and in private collections.
