Biography
He was an educator, painter and illustrator. In 1921, he began his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow with Jozef Mehoffer. He first exhibited his works at the exhibition of the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1920, later he also exhibited with the "Group of Ten". In 1936, he held a solo exhibition. He exhibited several times at the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He was a member of the Group of Polish Artists "Circle". In addition to numerous group exhibitions in Cracow - his works could be seen in Lublin, Poznan, Radom and Lodz. Since 1921 he worked as a teacher of drawing and handiwork in Cracow's pedagogical schools. He developed and published several textbooks, a program and methodology for teaching drawing for teachers' studies. He was also interested in the work of children - he organized exhibitions of their works.
