Biography
Between 1945 and 1950, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow with Zygmunt Radnicki, Ignacy Pieńkowski, Czesław Rzepiński and Fryderyk Pautsch. The leading theme in his work was silhouettes of horses set in the landscape. Many of his compositions feature, for example, the motif of a horse-drawn carriage with a coachman traversing snowy streets. In 1970, Krakow's Society of Friends of Fine Arts organized a solo exhibition of Potrzebowski's works.
