Painter and printmaker, student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1891-93, he continued his studies in Munich and Paris. He traveled in France, Germany and Italy. Since 1920 he lived permanently in Cracow and actively participated in the artistic life of the city. Among other things, he was a co-founder of the Society of Graphic Artists. Of graphic techniques, he practiced lithography, woodcut, etching. The subjects of his works were landscapes, flowers, trees, urban scenes, maintained in the spirit of French impressionism, under whose influence the artist's work remained.
