Leon Michalski (1911 Lodz-1989) - graduate and later employee of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts where he had a studio at the Department of Painting and Graphics. Co-author of polychromes in Warsaw's rebuilt Old Town. Awarded and exhibited many times, including at the Zachęta Gallery. The artist's works are also in the Warsaw Uprising Museum.
