Painter - "Dictionary of Polish Artists ..." gives 1878 as date of birth, "Index of Visual Artists ..." dates of life 1882-1963 and post-war membership in the Wroclaw branch of the ZPAP.
She studied in Munich (1895-1899), Krakow at the school of Tola Certowiczówna, where she was taught by J. Malczewski. In 1901 she began her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the first group of women admitted to the academy.
Here she was taught by J. Stanislawski, J. Mehoffer, among others. In 1919-1920 she was in Paris, where she participated in an exhibition of Polish artists as part of the France-Poland Society.
