Painter born in Niwki near Tarnów. Initially, she studied art in
Krakow at the A. Baraniecki Courses for Women. From 1895 to 1900 she studied in Paris
at the Académie Colarossi, among others under E. J. Prunet. At the same time, she attended lectures on
history of art at the Sorbonne. She made numerous trips, including to Italy and Belgium. She made her debut
in 1901 at the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Krakow, showing a painting
titled "Sadness." In 1914 she moved to Lviv, where she exhibited many works.
She painted mainly landscapes and flowers, maintained in the Impressionist convention, and
symbolic figural scenes in the Art Nouveau trend and designs for stained glass windows. The artist's oil paintings
can be found in the Museum of Art in Lodz, the Przemysl Land Museum, the National Museum in
Warsaw and the National Museum in Cracow.
