Maria Tarnawska-Wójtowicz (1921-2004) Non-professional painter. Wife of Stanislaw Wójtowicz. A sensitive colorist, she painted naive portraits and a whole series of intricate floral bouquets; in 1968 she began to exhibit her works; her career faltered after the death of her husband in 1991, with whom she was strongly associated; her works are in private collections and museums (including the Ethnographic Museum in Cracow).
