Michal ICHNOWSKI, Reading a newspaper

Painter, sculptor, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1878-1882, in 1881 he won the H. Siemiradzki scholarship, thanks to which he went to Vienna and Munich to study. He painted landscapes, portraits, religious and allegorical paintings and enjoyed using pastel. He exhibited at TPSP in Cracow in 1883-1901 and in 1910.
