Mieczyslaw Korwin Piotrowski (Kamieniec Podolski, Ukraine 1869 - Lviv 1930) - painter, graduated from gymnasium in Kamieniec Podolski, where he took his first drawing lessons. In 1883 he began his studies at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow under Florian Cynk and Władysław Łuszczkiewicz. He continued his studies from 1898 to 1899 at Stanislaw Grocholski's school in Munich. He exhibited, among others, at the TPSP in Cracow and at exhibitions in Lvov. where he lived permanently. In 1917, a large exhibition of 120 of his paintings was held at the Salon of Art in Kiev. He painted mainly landscapes (Whirlwind, Forest, Old Mill at Night by the Moon) and genre scenes (From the Lviv Market). His paintings were reproduced on postcards published in Lviv.
