Biography
Received his artistic education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, where he graduated in 1937. He studied with Fryderyk Pautsch, among others. In 1938 he took part in the opening of the Salon in Warsaw's Zachęta Gallery, where he won a bronze medal for his painting entitled "Sleeping." In 1939 he participated in a group exhibition at the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Cracow. He painted mainly landscapes and still lifes.
