Odo (Otton) Dobrowolski - painter, prominent draughtsman and printmaker; after graduating from Lviv gymnasium, studied as a free student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. In 1908-09 he stayed in Paris under the tutelage of Jan Styka. In 1909 he visited Munich, then returned to Lviv. In 1911-12 he was in Paris again. In 1915 he left for Russia. He painted portraits and atmospheric landscapes, usually with architectural motifs - mainly from Lvov, Krakow, Paris or other French cities. He worked primarily in watercolor, pastel, tempera or ink; less often in oil. He was the author of a decorative oil painting in the interior of G. Zapolska's Lviv confectionery "Dworek". He was involved in lithography; in 1915 he published a portfolio of 10 color autolithographs Lvov 1914-1915. The artist's works can be found, among others, in the collections of National Museums in Krakow, Poznan, Warsaw, Wroclaw. The largest collection of them is held by the Lviv Art Gallery.
