Biography
In 1877-1883 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow with J. Matejko and in 1883-1885 at the Munich Academy with O. Seitz. He traveled to Italy, Palestine. He was president of TPSP in Cracow for many years. The subjects of his works were genre scenes, religious scenes and portraits of young girls. His some paintings are sometimes characterized by touches of realism. He also worked as an illustrator for "Trilogy" and "Quo vadis" by Sienkiewicz, among others. He used oil and pastel techniques.
