He studied painting in Munich with Franz von Lenbach, with whom he later enjoyed a long friendship. He exhibited at TPSP in Lviv and TPSP in Krakow. In 1933, on the initiative of the Association of Jewish Painters and Sculptors in Cracow, a posthumous exhibition of Nadel's works was organized at the Jewish Academic House. He painted genre scenes, portraits and copies of works by old masters.
