Mariusz Gajewski
Works in photography and graphic design.
Studied photography at the Department of Motion Picture Television and Photography at the
Higher School of Art and Design in Lodz, history at the Faculty of Humanities
Catholic University of Lublin and film and television editing at the Academy of Film and Television in Warsaw. Since 2003, he has been teaching at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, currently at the Academy of Fine Arts' Scenography Department. In 2009, he received a doctorate in filmmaking in the field of photography from PWSFTIT in Lodz. In 2020, he received a doctorate in art from the Faculty of Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and in 2021 he was awarded the title of professor at the academy. He has had about 30 solo exhibitions and 90 group exhibitions at home and abroad, as well as more than 20 awards and prizes for publishing projects (including awards in the "Most Beautiful Book of the Year" competition, the "Honorary Award of Polish Bibliophiles", awards in the Obsession of Paper competition: three times "Mastering on a Large Scale", twice: "Master Project" and "Master Creation").
