Biography
Creator of the Kielce School of Landscape, an artistic direction favoring a broad and simple view of landscape, an analysis of its structure created by the farmer. Graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology (1962), since 1964 in the ranks of ZPAF. Debut - at an art photography exhibition in Czestochowa (1955). Initiator, co-organizer and head of the Delegation of ZPAF in Kielce (1975) and Founder and creator of the Swietokrzyskie District of ZPAF (1978). After 50 years of creative work, Pierściński decided in 2004 to burn the 262,000 negatives he had exposed in his home coal kitchen in response to the lack of interest in taking over his archive. He did not want the negatives to end up in the trash after his death.
