Biography
Studied at the Faculty of Textiles at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Lodz from 1963 to 1969. He is a full professor at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting at the Wladyslaw Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, leads the Studio of Woodcut Techniques, and since 1984 has headed the Department of Workshop Graphics. He is a member of the International Association of Wood Engravers XYLON, based in Switzerland. He has received numerous awards, medals and prizes in exhibitions and competitions, for his work and achievements in teaching in higher art education.
