Anna Sobol- Wejman
She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1972. She studied printmaking with Prof. Mieczyslaw Wej man and Prof. Włodzimierz Kunz.
In 1995 she won the Grand Prix at the International Biennial of Graphic Arts in G
yör. In 2009, she was awarded the Wojtkiewicz Prize. In December 2009, the Minister of Culture and National Heritage awarded her the bronze medal "Meritorious to Culture Gloria Artis".
Works in the collections of, among others, the National Library in Warsaw, The Museum of Modern Art in New York, Graphische Sammlung Albertina in Vienna and in private collections in France, Japan, Germany, the United States, among others.
Wife of Stanislaw Wejman, a graphic artist and painter.
