Map of Thoughts II, 2021
silkscreen print on uncoated paper, 100 x 70 cm
"Maps of Thoughts" is a series of six prints constituting a visual notation of the emotions of traveling through Europe's most famous and crowded capitals. The dark outlines of the prints contain the shapes of sensationally remembered street layouts, backstreets, architectural details, signs and signboards. The works are perverse "portraits" of famous cities viewed a bit more "from behind the scenes" - during excursions aimed at getting lost in the strangest possible atmospheric corners of the metropolis. The graphics capture the hustle and bustle and specific rush of Athens, Paris and Rome.
