Lvov-born painter and graphic artist, participant in the Legion fights and the September campaign, soldier of the Home Army. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under Mehoffer and Wojnarski, from 1932 he was a teacher of drawing at the teachers' seminary in Cracow. In 1935 he went on a scholarship to France. He participated in numerous exhibitions presenting painting and graphic works. In 1939 he took part in a traveling exhibition in French cities. He painted portraits and landscapes, from graphic techniques he practiced mezzotint, etching, copperplate and lithography.
