The work comes from the series "Chopinowi Duda-Gracz" - it is a comprehensive series of paintings, inspired by the music of Frederic Chopin. The series is a tribute to the composer, with whom the artist felt a spiritual bond, and at the same time the most notable example of the inspiration of musical works for visual arts. The painter spent the last four years of his life, from 1999 to 2003, working on its creation. During this time he created 296 compositions inspired by Chopin's music. Tracing the fate of the Chopin series, one can see that it is gaining popularity and interest, not only in Poland, but also in the world. Duda-Gracz's work is exhibited in various galleries and accompanies many ceremonies, including piano concerts - it is a visual backdrop for the works performed.
