Painter and printmaker, a student of Skoczylas, under whose influence the artist's early work was shaped, drawing inspiration from folk art and ornamentation. After 1930 Wiszniewski changed his interests and took up architecture and landscape, greatly enriching his graphic technique. He mainly practiced woodcut.The subject of his works is the historic architecture of Gdansk, Poznan, Kazimierz n/Wisla, Warsaw and other cities.
