Painter and printmaker, pupil of Skoczylas, under whose influence the early
artist's work, drawing inspiration from folk art and ornamentation. After 1930
Wiszniewski changed his interests and took up architecture and landscape,
significantly enriching his graphic technique. He cultivated mainly
woodcut.The subject of his works is the historic architecture of Gdansk, Poznan,
Kazimierz n/Wisla, Warsaw and other cities.
