Biography
In 1940-45 he stayed in Duisburg and Mühlheim Ruhr in camps for the so-called "dipis". There he worked in an amateur theater and took private studies in painting and drawing. In 1948-54 he studied at the State School of Visual Arts in Lodz, where, among other things, he served as vice-dean of the Graphic Arts Department. In 1979, he received the rank of professor. He works in printmaking, drawing and painting. The artist himself counts among his best series: "Oreos," "Permeations," "Cards from the Album," "Landscapes" and "Don Kishoteria." Since 1954, he has participated in more than 500 district, national, international and Polish art exhibitions abroad.
