Magdalena Chmielek - graduated in Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. She received her master's degree in the Woodcut Studio of Prof. Bogdan Miga. She studied for a semester in Toulouse and did internships in Lisbon and Warsaw.
She currently teaches drawing, painting and creative techniques at the "Krakow Art Schools". She works in printmaking (linocut, woodcut), illustration, installation, painting, collage. She has taken part in 34 group exhibitions in Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, France and Iceland, as well as 16 solo exhibitions.
Her graphics were inspired by trips to botanical gardens in Berlin, Lisbon and Monaco.
