Color linocut, tissue paper; dimensions: 22.50 x 12.50 cm. From the collection of Dr. Jan Mitarski, a Cracow psychiatrist, collector and friend of artists. Marian Kruczek (1927 - 1983) visual artist, painter, printmaker and sculptor. He graduated from the Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in 1954, and was a student of Prof. Wojciech Weiss and Zbigniew Pronaszko, among others. He became a researcher and lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow as an associate professor. In 1956, he settled in Nowa Huta. Under his block of flats on the Centrum D housing estate, he ran the "Under the Cloud" Gallery.
