Biography
Draughtsman and graphic artist. He studied under Jan Piotr Norblin. In 1800-10 he stayed in Holland and Paris. He made several hundred pen drawings and dozens of engravings in etching technique. His main work is "Recueil de 19 planches etudes des figures dessinees d`apres nature a Amsterdam en 1802 et gravees spirituellement a l`eau forte par M." published in Holland. Plonski a Paris" In his engravings he depicted caricatured types of beggars, traders, vagabonds. He also made miniature portraits and reproductions of works by old masters, mainly Rembrandt.
