Copperplate colored engraving form. 19x32.5 on ark. 27x42.7 cm. "Market in a Polish town". - One of the most attractive graphics from the book by the Polish historian Bernard Zaydler, settled in Italy, , "Storia della Polonia fino agli ultimi tempi fino agli ultimi tempi" published in 1831 in Florence. It depicts a horse market in the market square of a small town, with a church in the depths in a clump of trees, and haggling merchants in the foreground. Signatures under the composition: on the left "Orlowski disegno", on the right: "Verico inc". Under the composition, title and description: "Fiera Polacca. Copiato da un disegno di proprieta di S.A. il. Principe Stanislao Poniatowski." Scattered folding marks, minor rubbing of lower margin at fold.
