Yaroslav Kirilenko (1913-1977) - Polish painter and graphic artist born in Volyn. He studied at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts from 1929 to 1931, the Académie Julian in Paris from 1931 to 1932, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw from 1933 to 1937. In 1937, he first exhibited his graphic and painting works at Warsaw's Zachęta Gallery. Since 1949 he began working as an illustrator with the publishing houses "Nasza Księgarnia", "Sport and Tourism", and MON. His great passion was hunting, which he also often depicted in his art. He cultivated artistic and applied graphics (dry-erase, woodcut) and oil painting.
