pencil drawing, paper, 20 x 29 cm, signed in pencil and dated p. d. "Ryszard Prauss 1945"; Drawing reproduced in Catalogue of works by Ryszard Prauss from the posthumous exhibition at the Swietkorzyskie Museum in Kielce in 1956 containing a list of 282 items.

Ryszard Prauss studied 1924-1930 in the studios of Mieczyslaw Kotarbinski and Tadeusz Pruszkowski at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. At the same time he studied printmaking with well-known professors: Władysław Skoczylas and Edmund Bartłomiejczyk. Ryszard Prauss is a traditional painter and draftsman, specializing mainly in pencil and crayon. His favorite subjects are mainly Polish reconstructed architecture.
