Stanislaw Dabrowski alias Stan (1925-2011) began drawing in 1946. He made his debut in the weekly "Na straży" and later placed his drawings in the biweekly "Społem" and "Gazeta handlowa". He collaborated with "Trybuna Ludu'', "Karuzela'', "Sportowiec'', "Granica'', "Sztandar młodzieży'', "Prasa Polska'', "Rzeczypospolita'', "Odrodzenie'', "Przegląd sportowy'' and several other magazines. He was an economist and journalist by profession. During his 40 years of creative work, he published more than 6,000 drawings. Among the most popular are works on sports themes. He participated in dozens of exhibitions at home and abroad, including the National Satire Exhibition in Lodz in 1974, the Triennale of Satire in Lodz 1976, the Second National Satire Exhibition in Warsaw in 1976, the Satiricon in Legnica in 1978 and 1989, "Football in Caricature" exhibition in Warsaw in 1986 (Award of the Caricature Lovers Club), International Caricature Salon in Montreal 1976-1983, International Humor Salon in Bordighera (Italy).
