Polish painter and graphic artist, honorary doctor of the Wladyslaw Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. One of the representatives of the group of Lodz avant-gardists belonging to the so-called "Strzeminski circle". His painting and graphic works are arranged in cycles of abstract compositions. He used a limited palette, did not shy away from muted, cool colors, his paintings were characterized by asceticism of painterly means, concentration, harmony of emotional attitude with intellectual, intuition with consciousness, individual expression with universal content.
