Painter, graphic artist, stage designer. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under Pieńkowski, Axentowicz, Weiss and graphics under Wojnarski. He supplemented his studies in Paris and Italy. He was a stage designer for the theaters of Cracow and Poznan. In graphics, he mainly practiced woodcuts, influenced by Skoczylas. Most often he took up figural and architectural subjects, which he subjected to decorative stylization.
